Signs A Person Has Had Plastic Surgery

There are many ways to determine whether someone has had plastic surgery. Recently it seems getting cosmetic work done is becoming more and more normalized in society, with people opting for procedures such as lip fillers or Botox injections that alleviate symptoms of frown lines on the face.

The most common way to spot a facelift is by noticing a stretched, unnatural look around the eyes. This often occurs after trauma has created scars on the skin or if one procedure removes too much fat from under the eyes, which appear hollow and sunken due to lack of support when facial muscles begin sagging from aging.

A bulbous shape is one of the most apparent indications that a person has undergone rhinoplasty surgery. Usually, your nose’s septum—the partition between the two sides of your nostrils—is thin and straight. But when these people don’t get their surgeries done correctly, it tends to turn bulgier as they heal. Bulbous noses are also due to poor surgical technique or negligence during the healing period, resulting in collapsed cartilage with irregular shapes appearing on top.

    Chest and Breasts

One way to tell if a woman has had breast implants is by looking for wrinkles that run next to her breasts when she bends over. This crease can be caused by saline breast implants, but not exclusively.

The second method for determining an individual’s bust enhancement procedure is a little trickier: looking at previous photos taken with other women who look like this person before getting her new boobs done. If this happens, you can always have the surgery corrected by another plastic surgeon. However, it’s best to ensure that your doctor has plenty of experience with breast augmentation before going under the knife.

    Upper abdomen

If you have had a gastric bypass, your belly may swell up in the form of a pouch. In particular, if you are male and have undergone gastric-bypass surgery, this can be seen as an aftereffect, most notably due to less skin available after your stomach has been reduced in size. This causes less expansion space, so when gas builds up inside the body (if food isn’t digested properly), it may come out through holes in the abdomen and cause swelling around them.

So, is it possible to tell if someone has had plastic surgery? Perhaps. It all comes down to searching for irregularities or inconsistencies in a person’s appearance. Suppose you see one or more of the signs discussed above. In that case, that doesn’t mean something is wrong with that person—plenty of celebrities have had brow lifts and treatments to combat skin issues.
