Ginny Weasley – Bonnie Wright

How about we kick this off with a totally unrelated fact about Bonnie you may or may not find cool. Here it goes, the actress shares the same birthday with singer Ed Sheeran. Bonnie Wright was born on 17th February 1991 and was only nine years old when she was cast in “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” as Ginny Weasley in 2001.

She played the youngest member of the Weasley family in all eight Harry Potter movies. Although her role in the first film was a small appearance to meet Harry Potter – Daniel Radcliffe – it became a significant buildup as the series progressed. One of the films in the series where we couldn’t get enough of her on our screens was in the fourth, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, she featured in several scenes, and we believe it was her most ample time on our screens.

Over the years, Bonnie hasn’t only been acting, even though she has starred in several great movies. She has been swamped with fashion modeling, screenwriting, directing, and producing after studying film and television in the university. In a recent interview with E! Online, she said, “Since I’ve graduated, I’ve continued with music videos, commercials, short films, and am hopefully entering into my first feature film…”.

She has starred in many different movies from Disney to Hallmark to BBC, and one of our favorites remains After the Dark in 2013. Most recently, the 30-year-old went back for some more magic by voicing J.K. Rowling’s “The Tales of Beedle the Bard” audiobook on a special request by J.K. Rowlings herself.
