The U-475, also known as Foxtrot B-39, was a massive attack submarine utilized by the Soviet Navy during the Cold War. Commissioned in 1967, this vessel was used to train submariners from Cuba, India, and Libya. Decommissioned in 1994, the submarine went to private owners before becoming a public museum ship in England. Currently, it lies in the River Medway in Strood, England, awaiting restoration.

A remarkable transformation occurred when a Soviet Zulu V class B-80 submarine, part of Soviet Project 611, was converted into a party vessel. Renamed Foxtrot, it found its new home at the Maritime Quarter in Amsterdam North. Initially a museum ship in Den Helder, it eventually became a popular party venue. The interior was stripped to allow partygoers to enjoy themselves freely inside the submarine.
