XT-Craft Midget Submarines
Two corroded and wrecked skeletons of Royal Naval XT class midget submarines from World War II can be seen during low tide on the eastern coast of Aberlady Bay, Scotland. These submarines were part of a daring mission against the German battleship Tirpitz and were later used for testing and practice by the RAF.
Sazan Island

Sazan Island, a small island off the Albanian coast, was once home to Soviet Whiskey-class submarines. Since being abandoned, the island’s network of tunnels and decaying vessels remain. The Soviets operated biological and chemical weapon plants on the island before Albania seized the base in 1968. The outdated submarines were eventually neglected and left to decay with the base. The island is now being considered for development as a tourist destination.
